Unfiltered: The Top 20 Sexiest Movies You’ve Never Seen, Part 3
You know the list is getting hotter when most of the movie clips aren’t work-safe. Numbers 20-11 were just a warm up. This next group begins your journey through the Obscure Sexiness Inferno.
10. Ricco the Mean Machine
TYPE OF SEXINESS: Acid Baths & Barbara Bouchet
This is a violent revenge film that was once marketed as horror under the title The Cauldron of Blood. One of the taglines is “No swords, no guns, no knives, no weapons. Just a burning pool of acid!”, which isn’t entirely accurate. True, there are several deaths by acid bath. It’s just not the primary focus of the movie as the title implies. The story involves Ricco (Christopher Mitchum, son of Robert) who is out to avenge the murder of his father. The villain likes to dispatch his victims in the “cauldron of blood”. (There’s also a nasty castration scene that may be discomforting for viewers sensitive to that sort of thing.) Ricco mostly just karate chops and shoots people.

EXAMPLE OF SEXINESS: Ricco also stars Barbara Bouchet whose presence is quite the opposite of horrific. The actress, who appeared in a number of giallo and exploitation films in the 70’s, turns the heat up considerably. When she’s introduced in the film, she’s wearing a revealing top that distracts Ricco while he makes change for a counterfeit bill:

Her most showstopping scene is when she performs a striptease on the hood of a car. This, too, is intended as a distraction, but instead for a couple of unwitting gangsters. You can check out the NOT safe for work clip over at Dailymotion.
9. The Ring Finger
TYPE OF SEXINESS: Pre-Bond Pulchritude
“My! Young lady! You have beautiful shoes!”
Pretty much every movie I’ve seen Olga Kurylenko in, she’s either killing people (Centurion) or hanging out with someone who kills people (Hitman). Her being cast as a Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace indicates that she looks good in either capacity. The Ring Finger was Kurylenko’s first film role. No one gets killed, but the attention lavished on her physical charms makes up for lack of body count. It’s almost like a visual poem dedicated to Olga Kurylenko with a somewhat cryptic plot thrown in to move things along (the movie is based on a novel by Japanese author Yoko Ogawa). The story is about Kurylenko finding work as a receptionist at a laboratory after cutting off the tip of her finger in a bottling plant accident. What service the lab provides is a bit mysterious, but it has something to do with preserving specimens of personal belongings brought in by clients. Her boss places a strange importance on a pair of red shoes. In this scene, he presents them to Kurylenko as a gift. It strikes me as fetishistic:

EXAMPLE OF SEXINESS: From my perspective, just about every scene is sexy in one way or another. Those who are enamored with Kurylenko will find a smorgasbord of sexy parts. The love scenes with her boss are the most overtly erotic, though, if you prefer specifics. Again, Dailymotion has a clip that is too hot to show you here. If it doesn’t convince you, then nothing will.
8. Mademoiselle vs. Eva
TYPE OF SEXINESS: Men Trapped In The Web Of A Woman’s Wiles
Because I believe Jeanne Moreau to be one of the most sultry actresses who has ever lived, choosing which of these films is sexiest is too challenging. Instead, I will present them as a single entry and let you decide. These are both movies where she plays an icy woman who toys with a man. In Eva, the guy is a buffoon who fancies himself to be a Casanova. They meet after she breaks into his house during a storm. He is immediately smitten, which opens the door for Moreau to string him along mercilessly. She does warn him early on, “Don’t fall in love with me.” He’s just too cocky to listen.
Mademoiselle is about a school teacher in a small village who secretly spreads chaos and misery. In between setting fires and sadistically squashing bird eggs, she develops the hots for a local Italian lumberjack. The villagers are already suspicious of him because he’s an immigrant. Moreau indulges her lusts while setting him up to be a part of her evil grand scheme..
EXAMPLE OF SEXINESS: The scene in Eva where Moreau breaks into the guy’s house and nonchalantly takes a bath while listening to a Billie Holiday record. At first he’s angry about the B & E, until he sees the comely intruder for the first time:

There’s one love scene in Mademoiselle between Moreau and the Italian lumberjack where she pretends to be a dog. That’s pretty sexy (in a weird way). But there’s also this unusual encounter. I figure that it’s symbolic :

It’s worth mentioning that Mademoiselle was nominated for a Best British Cinematography award (though the dialogue is mostly in French). Also, the cinematographer for Eva worked on Fellini‘s 8 1/2 and Juliet of the Spirits. The distinctive visual style of both films heightens the sensual mood considerably.
7. The Sensuous Nurse
TYPE OF SEXINESS: Lethally Luscious Healthcare Professional (or Post-Bond Pulchritude)
The majority of people are familiar with Swiss actress Ursula Andress because of her iconic bikini scene in Dr. No. She has appeared in quite a few other movies, from the Elvis flick Fun in Acapulco to the Video Nasty Mountain of the Cannibal God. But it’s The Sensuous Nurse that presents her in full-throttle sexy mode. In fact, her sexiness in the film is deemed potent enough to be deadly. A family is waiting impatiently to inherit a wine company from their ailing uncle. Andress is hired to care for him in hopes that her voluptuousness will exacerbate his heart condition. Bawdy hijinks ensue, most of which center around Andress without clothes on.
EXAMPLE OF SEXINESS: If The Sensuous Nurse does have an Ursula Andress screen moment worthy of iconic status, I’d nominate the seduction scene toward the end. The youngest family member, who was not told about the plot to do in the uncle, appears to be suspicious. Andress pays him a bedroom visit in order to find out what he knows. Once again, our fiends at Dailymotion provide the clip.
6. Sexy Killer: You’ll Die for Her
TYPE OF SEXINESS: Serial Killer/Zombie Fighter Fashionista
I guess model Milla Jovovich pulls off a reasonably attractive zombie slayer in the Resident Evil series. Spanish actress Macarena Gómez just does it with more style and humor. Well, in all honesty, there isn’t that much zombie slaying in Sexy Killer. It’s not until the film takes an odd turn at the end that the undead start showing up. The rest of the time, Gómez murders her way through a college campus while displaying her superior fashion sense. There’s even room for a musical number. Here’s a few clips that cover some highlights:

EXAMPLE OF SEXINESS: This is the closest to a love scene that the movie gets. Gómez thinks she found a boyfriend who shares her passion for serial killing and the sparks fly (no nudity, but lots of moaning):

As an added bonus, here is Macarena Gómez talking about her role in the film:
